optional, remove by deleting #define SUPPORT_ASSIMP in src/LightsprintIO/supported_formats.h (for Linux, remove linking from makefile)
Windows: git head from 2018-06-08 (patched) is used internally by LightsprintIO library, it's not visible from outside (no headers or dll files)
OSX: install with sudo port install assimp
Ubuntu: install with sudo apt-get install libassimp-dev
Assimp is automatically disabled when building with old Visual Studios
